Valves

Heart valve replacement is performed when one or more of the heart’s four valves fails or becomes inefficient. When this happens, blood within the heart may begin to flow in the wrong direction (i.e. regurgitation) or may become restricted/stopped (stenosis). Heart valve replacement can be performed via open heart or minimally invasive surgery. Valve replacement and, in certain cases, clamping may happen in any of the four heart valves:

  • Mitral Valve
  • Tricuspid Valve
  • Aortic Valve
  • Pulmonary Valves

At Biomerics, we specialize in the development and manufacturing of heart valve delivery systems used in minimally invasive procedures. We partner with customers to design and produce devices and systems that lower risk and improve patient outcomes.
