Central Catheters

Central venous catheters (CVCs) are inserted into a large vein in the chest, neck, or groin for IV therapy, blood removal, or monitoring. CVCs are commonly used as a means to bypass the scarring and weakening of veins that peripheral catheters, with repeated needle sticks, can cause. CVCs are also preferred over peripheral catheters when direct, high flow access is required.

At Biomerics, we specialize in the development and manufacturing of implantable CVCs. Through our engineering and materials expertise, we partner with our customers to design and produce high impact CVCs for acute and chronic applications.
