Quadraplast

The Quadraplast™ family of aromatic rigid thermoplastic polyurethanes are designed for rigid biostable applications such as:

  • Connectors
  • Catheter Bifurcations
  • Fittings
  • Luers
  • Hubs

Quadraplast™ offers a unique combination of toughness, dimensional stability, biocompatiblity, and chemical resistance. Quadraplast™ is typically used to replace nylon and polycarbonate based engineered plastics where coloring or stress cracking may be an issue. Quadraplast™ is available in impact-modified opaque grades (AR100). The material is typically injection molded, but may be extruded and thermoformed. Quadraplast™ can be easily bonded to Quadrathane™ and Quadraflex™ tubing using overmolding or solvent bonding processes.
